UA Local 693’s pension fund is an industry leader in the state of Vermont. No other company offers the amounts or benefits that our local pension does. Once qualified, money goes directly into your pension at absolutely no cost to you. Not a single penny comes out of your paycheck to pay for your pension. Unlike pay-in programs or match programs that others use, our program is easy for the member and puts a lot more into a retirement account than others.

Annuity
The UA Local 693 Annuity Plan is a defined contribution plan where each year the membership votes on how much money per hour will be allotted to the plan. Currently $1 per working hour is contributed to each qualified member's account by the employer and the member decides how to invest their money. Members can also contribute additional money or roll money in if they choose to.

UA Local 693's health coverage is offered through Allegiant Care. Our comprehensive health plan offers dental, vision, prescriptions, short-term disability, health, and much more. -
Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)
This UA Local 693 plan offers access to an HRA for eligible participants. This is an employer-funded health benefit that reimburses employees for certain out-of-pocket medical expenses that the employee, spouse or eligible dependents incur. The HRA is funded through contributions to the fund by contributing employers at the hourly rates established by the collective bargaining agreements between the Union and participating employers.
